1950 marks the beginning of Poh Tiong Choon Group of companies. with only a few lorries and with the founding fathers literally at the wheels of these vehicles during the early years, the group today has become a vast organization offering a wide and varied spectrum of logistics services.
In the intervening years – between 1950 and 1999 – is the saga of how a humble set-up could over a span of almost 50 years develop and transform itself from a small transport company into what it is today. PTC Group Logistics Division consist of a publicly listed companies and 3 privately held freight forwarding companies.
And such was their conviction that it eventually led them to engender and crystallize the concept of “Total Service” – an idea that since then has become a guiding force in the group’s corporate strategy. Supply chain management is the evolution of total service concept.
